  SUBJECT: Introduction Letter Dear Mdm Faz, My name is Renee and I would like to introduce myself to you. I am currently a Year 1 student in Singapore Institute of Technology studying Mechanical Engineering.  The reason that I chose this degree was due to my creative nature. Since we are in a time of rapid social and technological changes, I have to think creatively to challenge myself.  My communication strengths would be being a good listener. This is also the reason that differentiates me from other students. I will listen with an open mind and empathize with people. The ability to listen will allow me to accurately receive and interpret messages.  However, I tend to be overly critical of my own work. I strive to aim for perfection which has caused me stress and inability to do my best.
